I'm a long-time interior Alaska resident who has been building towards moving off-grid and off the road system to set up a wilderness retreat space (and retreat to a wilderness space) for over two decades. I have the skills and the place now, but the reality of living so far off the beaten path necessitates skilled, compatible partners in the venture. I'm a bleeding-heart liberal who drives a gas-guzzling truck, harvests game and makes time to enjoy and create art of all kinds. Although I strive to remain open-minded, I am a vehement agnostic - those adherent to religion should approach with caution. Must thrive in winter, have the practical skills and experience to operate independently in a remote setting, be comfortable away from modern amenities for extended periods of time, and love dogs - I have a team of them.
