Free spirited mourning dove

my ideal tribe would be more like my grandfather in his no bullshit, toughen up buttercup realist ways, where integrity and honor still exist, and common sense is still common. I put in everything I have to the people who share my world, Kind of like a pot luck life. I also speak the truth about what is on my mind. If someone asks me if they are fat in that dress, They should be prepared for the truth as I see it if their fat rolls are squeezing out at every seam. and I expect to receive that kind of honesty from my tribe. I am not a person who looks for excuses. I am a person who likes to handle the issues whenever possible as soon as possible simply because it needs done, and because it is shameful to me to NOT carry my own weight. Unfortunately our society has become what they were raised to be... A bunch of spoiled self indulgent entitled narcissistic brats who think that they should be indulged because mommy said they were special. They are SPECIAL alright.... Thank God my mom was raised in the ghetto of philadelphia and knew enough to make sure I understood things are they really are. I am NOT special, the world isn't fair, and people are dangerous. Well, that last one was a learning obstacle to me, since I was raised in small town Nebraska, and watched seseme street faithfully until I was like 12. Sad to say that I spent a good majority of my life delusional. It has taken that long to learn not to be so shocked every time someone lets their mask slip or betrays my trust. Turns out my mom was right... AGAIN. But at my ripe age, its too late to change my ways of thinking. So I will always believe a person is being genuine and I will always be shocked when they prove to be otherwise. I think its a slippery slope, presuming someone is going to do me wrong before they have shown it to be in their character. If I start assuming that people are all out to steal my cookies, how long before I start stealing cookies with the excuse that they were going to take MY cooki
