a vegan community in Reno, Nevada, with a simple but ambitious hope: that intentional communities might know each other better, learn from each other, and grow together. Here is what we stand for. We believe love, joy, and purpose are daily practices, not slogans. We believe in science, truth, and technology as instruments of human flourishing. We meditate, laugh, do yoga, share plant-based meals, and train our habits, feelings, and minds to become the most empowered, enlightened people we can be. We are mindful, positive, and pro-progress - and we see no contradiction between rationality and warmth. The scientific method is itself an act of love: a commitment to seeing the world as it truly is, so we can care for it and each other more effectively. Every community has polished its own jewel. Some of you have mastered permaculture and veganic growing; others conflict resolution, governance, renewable energy, education, wellness, or art. No single community holds it all - but together, we nearly do. Our dream is a living exchange between communities: sharing practices, visiting, collaborating, and uniting the best of what each of us has learned, so that all of us rise.
