ROOT – Black & Brown only – Costa Rica homestead/cacao farm The root is the poison we’ve swallowed: the trauma that makes us turn on each other, the scarcity that makes us hoard, the divides that make us strangers, the sabotage that keeps us scattered. This farm is not a retreat, not a workshop, not a vacation. It is the place we learn how to become a living, working community. If you’re Black or Brown and done surviving alone, come. You will work the cacao, the herbs and the soil . You will speak the ugliest truths in the dirt. You will burn what needs to die. You will pour libation for the ancestors we forgot. You will build the structures, the systems, the trust that outlives us. We will eat from the same pot. We will correct each other when the poison rises. We will not let anyone fall alone. This is not about healing and leaving. This is about healing and staying, or healing and starting the next community together. Stay one week to taste it. Stay one month to prove it. Stay longer if the land says yes. Contribution: $400 per week. Every dollar goes back into the land and the community we are building. Can’t pay? Bring labor, skills, tools, seeds. We figure it out.
